📝 Ingredients:

  • Slices of part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • Lean ground beef or turkey sausage
  • Ricotta cheese (light if available)
  • Italian seasoning and garlic salt
  • Optional: sprinkle of Parmesan
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (sugar-free if possible)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lay mozzarella slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake 5 minutes.
  2. Top each slice with cooked ground meat and a scoop of ricotta. Season with Italian seasoning and garlic salt.
  3. Add another slice of mozzarella on top and bake 8–10 more minutes.
  4. Let cool slightly, place on a paper towel to remove excess grease, and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  5. Serve with marinara for dipping.
