Ingredients
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1½ cups sugar-free or no-added-sugar chocolate chips
- 1 cup powdered or no-sugar-added peanut butter
- ½ cup sugar-free maple syrup (or preferred low-point sweetener)
- ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
Instructions
- Line a pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add crispy rice cereal to a large mixing bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and applesauce.
- Heat in short intervals, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently mix until evenly coated.
- Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until set.
- Slice into bars and enjoy.
