Ingredients

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1½ cups sugar-free or no-added-sugar chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered or no-sugar-added peanut butter
  • ½ cup sugar-free maple syrup (or preferred low-point sweetener)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

Instructions

  1. Line a pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Add crispy rice cereal to a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and applesauce.
  4. Heat in short intervals, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently mix until evenly coated.
  6. Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until set.
  8. Slice into bars and enjoy.
