Ingredients (WW Optimized — same look)
- 1 lb turkey sausage (lean, mild style)
👉 swap from pork sausage = biggest point saver - Cooking spray (instead of ½ cup butter)
- ½ head cabbage, chopped
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- ½ lb button mushrooms, diced
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 can reduced-fat or fat-free cream of mushroom soup
- ¾ cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar
(still cheesy on top but much lighter)
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook sausage
Spray skillet and brown turkey sausage. Drain if needed.
2️⃣ Add veggies
Add onion, peppers, mushrooms, garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes.
3️⃣ Add cabbage + tomato
Stir in cabbage and tomato. Cover and cook until cabbage softens.
4️⃣ Make it creamy
Stir in cream of mushroom soup. Simmer a few minutes.
5️⃣ Add cheese
Sprinkle cheddar on top, cover until melted.
