My niece calls these “chicken hashbrowns,” and honestly… she’s not wrong.
They’re crispy, cheesy, protein-packed, and take 20 minutes total.
Perfect for nights when you want something real but don’t want to cook.


Ingredients

  • 1 can chicken breast, drained (0 pts)
  • 1 egg (0 pts)
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
    • Use fat-free mozzarella0 pts
    • Or part-skim mozzarella2–3 pts total

👉 Using fat-free cheese keeps the patties looking the same (melts enough to bind) but with 0 points.


👩‍🍳 How to Make It (Air Fryer Crispy Version)

1️⃣ Mix

Combine canned chicken, egg, and cheese in a bowl until it forms a sticky mixture.

2️⃣ Shape

Form into 3–4 patties with your hands.

3️⃣ Preheat

Heat air fryer to 400°F (205°C).

4️⃣ Air Fry

Cook patties 10 minutes, flip, then 10 more minutes until golden and crisp.
