Ingredients:

  • 12 square wonton wrappers – 1 pt each
  • 1 cup cooked skinless chicken or turkey breast, shredded – 0 pts
  • ¼ cup reduced-fat shredded mozzarella or cheddar – 2 pts
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green onions – 0 pts
  • ¼ cup diced vegetables (bell pepper, carrot, zucchini, etc.) – 0 pts
  • 1 tsp olive oil (for brushing/spraying) – 1 pt
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and spices (paprika, curry, etc.) – 0 pts
  • Optional: 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce or hot sauce – 0 pts

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Filling:
    Mix shredded chicken/turkey, cheese, veggies, green onions, and seasonings in a bowl.
  2. Assemble Wontons:
    • Place 1 wrapper on a flat surface.
    • Add ~1 heaping tablespoon filling to the center.
    • Brush edges with water, fold diagonally into a triangle, and press to seal tightly.
  3. Cooking Methods:
    Air Fryer (Recommended):
    • Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
    • Lightly brush or spray with olive oil.
    • Air fry 5–6 min, flip, cook 3–4 min until golden.
    Oven:
    • Preheat to 400°F (205°C).
    • Place on parchment-lined sheet, brush with oil, bake 8–10 min per side until crisp.
    Pan Fry (higher points):
    • Use 1–2 tsp oil in a skillet, fry until golden.
