Garlic Butter Cod Strips with Cilantro Lime Sauce

🌿 Ingredients

For the Cod:
• 500g fresh cod fillets, cut into strips
• 2 tbsp light butter (or 1 tbsp regular butter + 1 tbsp olive oil)
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ tsp paprika
• ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• Salt & pepper to taste

For the Cilantro Lime Sauce:
• ½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt
• 1 tbsp light mayo
• 1 small garlic clove, minced
• Juice + zest of ½ lime
• 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
• Salt & pepper to taste


🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Sauce:
Mix yogurt, mayo, garlic, lime juice + zest, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
Pop it in the fridge while you cook the fish.

2️⃣ Cook the Cod:
Pat cod dry and season well.
In a skillet, heat oil + butter, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then cook cod strips 2–3 min per side until golden.
Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice.

3️⃣ Serve:
Drizzle that creamy, tangy sauce on top or serve it on the side for dipping.
